Exceptional Swedish Commode from Grums, Värmland ca 1750
I will say that this is beauty for me in all its aspects.
This Swedish commode from circa 1750, in all its distress and patina, is out of the ordinary.
Hands and the human touch chipped the different layers of paint over the centuries, and now it’s a testament to time.
It came to us as an empty shell and a specialist has given it a new back and feet.
