Long Norwegian Folk Art Bench ca 1790-1830s
This is truly a beautiful bench from Norway, with a thickness and width make it distinctive, complemented by its smooth patina.
In the 1920s to 1940s, a small box was added to it, which adds to its over all character and history.
It could possibly have been part of a longer church pew bench.
Made of pine wood.
